To exist in unity and to live together is dear to God. The fact that people of all religions live together in harmony in Thirunainarkurichi is a matter of pride for our parish.
Several events in recent past bear testimony to this unity.

It has been a longstanding practice here that during the parish festival marking the feast of St. Antony, when the statue of the saint is taken in procession around the village, it is encountered by the local Hindus at the junction, who express their veneration through aarathi, breaking coconuts and bowing down.
During this procession, it also frequently happens that people of other faiths take up the task of shouldering the platform on which the statue of St. Antony is borne in procession.
When food is offered to the public on the 2nd of November, first Tuesdays, and parish festival days, people of all religions take part in this.
People of all religions take part in the common cooking event organised during Christmas season.
On Maundy Thursday, before the mass, there is a practice of visiting each family and symbolically washing the feet of the people. This year, this foot-washing gesture also included the temple priest of the Karakandeswarar Temple.
In 2021, during the Christmas celebrations, the statue of the Baby Jesus was brought in procession by Balaprajathipathi Adigalar, and was laid in the manger by Swami Saidhanyananda of Vellimalai.
